Icons in Microsoft Windows Vista are missing
Solution

Occassionally you may find that the DESlock+ overlay icons shown in Microsoft Windows Vista are missing. Overlay icons are the icons shown on files or folders to denote special status, and DESlock+ uses these to indicated for example encrypted folders and synchronised folders

If these icons are missing you may find following these steps will return them:

  1. Open a Command Prompt from the Start menu. In the prompt type the following:
  2. Type "cd %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local"
  3. Type "attrib –h IconCache.db"
  4. Type "del IconCache.db"
  5. Reboot the PC

NB. If you cannot find Command Prompt, you may type "cmd" in the run box to open the prompt.

When typing commands, omit the quotation marks.
